EduColor Endorses Vision For Black Lives
Fifty organizations set out to establish a cohesive and transformational roadmap for ensuring Black people receive access to the full faith and credit of the U.S. Constitution by setting forth the Vision For Black Lives policy platform. The agenda laid out in the platform not only seeks to ensure all people are enfranchised, but pays particular attention to remedying systemic barriers which perpetuate inequitable conditions across the nation regardless of socio-economic status.
The EduColor collective, dedicated to the constant, beautiful struggle for liberation, including an equitable, just education for everyone, seeks to elevate the voices of public school advocates of color on educational equity and justice. We believe it is critical to support policies aimed at closing gaps in opportunities which prevent Black people from fully living the American dream. Therefore, we endorse the Vision For Black Lives platform as a starting place for an organized movement towards an equitable America where there is liberty and justice for all.
